Rosemead, California: The Rosemead School District is pleased to announce its 2026 Board of Trustees officers nominated as part of its organizational meeting on December 11, 2025, the Board of Trustees elected Ms. Nancy Armenta to assume the office of Board President and Mr. Ronald Esquivel to assume the office of Board Clerk, with Mrs. Veronica Peña, Mr. John Quintanilla, and Mrs. Diane Benitez, as Trustees.

Dear Rosemead Families and Community,
Welcome back, everyone, and hope you had a restful and rewarding winter break! I want to start by thanking you for your continued partnership and support throughout the first half of the school year. This time last year, we were dealing with the loss of our beloved principal, Sam Joo, at Encinita Elementary School and the devastation that came with unprecedented wildfires in our community. We endured, recovered, and survived those traumatic times by sticking together and staying focused on what was best for our students. We continue to thrive as a school community thanks to the hard work and dedication of our teachers, staff, and administrators.
